JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Company and Position:
A successful Main Contractor engaged in building and civil engineering projects across Bahrain are recruiting an experienced Procurement Engineer.
Responsibilities
• Review awarded tender documents with respect to IFC drawing and specification.
• Prepare RFQ documents and comparisons and prepare subcontracts order.
• Take off quantity from IFC drawing/Tender Drawing.
• Provide and prepare compliance statements for materials procurements.
• Prepare MAC documents for submissions.
• Evaluate Vendor capability.
• Coordination with client/Consultant for materials.
• Worked with Value engineering options.
• Cost reconciliation.
Requirements:
Experience Requirements:• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• Experience working for Main Contractors in Bahrain or the wider GCC.
• Conversant with FIDIC and JCT.
• AutoCAD Skills.
• Leadership quality and ability to work in a team environment.
• Negotiation skills.
• The ability to work under pressure.
