JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are a successful, growing, privately held international company seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Business Manager to lead our High-Performance Materials division in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a commercial background with a minimum of 15 years experience and a proven track record of driving sales growth through value selling of bespoke solutions in a B2B environment. Also building long term customer relationships up to senior level. As a key member of our management team, this role requires an entrepreneurial leader who can inspire a team, navigate complex market dynamics, and exceed customer expectations whilst continuing to build our business in a strategic growing industry.

Responsibilities:
- Complete sales and financial responsibility for the business.
- Develop and implement regional business strategies that align with the overall objectives of the company.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with our Corporate teams, including research, sales, and product development, to execute strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for expansion.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to our Corporate office.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional team to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies within the region.
-Travel to international company meetings for training and business reviews.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess business performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any subject, science or engineering based is an advantage but not essential.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales and business development in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
