JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To organise and conduct an accurate set of accounting books and to produce the needed management information reports on a timely basis. To take care of invoicing to customers, credit control and financial transactions to suppliers.

Duties:
• Conducts an accurate set of accounts by booking financial documents and bank transactions.
• Prepares invoices to customers and takes care of credit control by contacting customers for payments.
• Issues financial transactions for payments to be done to national and international suppliers including cheques, bank transfers, letters of credit,…..
• Maintains regular contact with financial institutions regarding corporate financing.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly management reporting: P&L and comparisons to budgets.
• Prepares all needed financial info for the board meetings
• Prepares two weekly short term and long term cash flow forecast
• If heavily involved in preparing the yearly budgets based on the department budget.
• Is responsible for the year end closing.
• Handles the eventual internal audits and the yearly external audit.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certified accountant or accountant with relevant proven track record
• At least 10 years experience in a similar position in an international environment.

Technical:
• Good general computer skills and working with spreadsheets.
• Good knowledge of any accounting software. Knowledge of Tally is a plus.

Language:
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal)
