JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The incumbent role is to assist the Internal Audit Director in the risk assessment process for Company internal controls leading to preparing the annual audit plan. Ensures successful completion of the assigned audit engagements, from start to finish, including pre-planning and wrap-up activities.
The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Familiarity with computer systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Develops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to identified risks, controls in place and audit objectives.
• Ability to observe and understand business processes ensuring the followed policies & procedures are adequate and well documented.
• Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented.
• Undertakes stock counting procedures for gold showrooms and gold factory.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Comfortable communicating with all levels of management.
• Drafts audit reports describing the results of audit reviews as well as conducts follow-up on progress.
• Possess analytical skills.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field• Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is beneficial
• Preferably bilingual (Arabic & English) reading & writing.
• Audit Reports and Financial Audits skills
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Finance and Communication skills
• Experience in the jewellery industry is a plus
