JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Technician - Product Pricing, Claims Reserving and Business Planning (Actuarial & Risk)

Core responsibility is to contribute to the actuarial and risk analysis/process used for product pricing, claims reserving and business planning.

The role will require involvement in the following areas:

Reserving
• Provide support and contribute to Quarterly Actuarial Reserving Calculations
• Undertake the data preparation and reconciliation of reserving exercises
• Assist on reserving actuarial modelling
• Prepare Quarterly Reserving Summary Reports as well as applicable statutory reports
• Support the coordination of Solvency 2 technical provision calculation

Pricing
• Assist in development and testing of Facultative pricing tools
• Assist on governance, monitoring and documentation fo all pricing tools
• Assist on development and testing of treaty pricing tools Assist in Retro Pricing Analysis

Business Planning
• Assist on the review of Forecasting Models Development
• Assist on the review in Risk Budget Modelling and reports
• Assist on the review in Planning scenarios

Other
• Undertake the Cashflow calculations and Reports
• Assist in Solvency 2 QRTs Completion
• Contribute with insight and research to relevant sections of ERM reports and assist in the preparation of such reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate in Actuarial Science from accredited university in UK or US.
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience within the insurance industry.
