JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter to join our dynamic team at our distinguished restaurant in Bahrain. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-prepared for guests.
- Check on customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and drink pairings.
- Process payments and handle cash registers efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events and special occasions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar role in the restaurant industry is preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
