JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is multi billion dollar conglomerate with presence in Western Africa. They are expanding their retail business in Premium Women's cosmetics and accessories category with stand-alone stores and Shop in Shop in women accessories in Western Africa and have established a full-fledged office in Guangzhou, with the buying, merchandizing, finance teams based over there.
Role will report to the Board and involve the following:
- Work with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long term goals
- Provide inspired leadership companywide & make high-level decisions about business strategy & expansion w.r.t opportunities, synergies, threats etc.
- Report to the board of directors and keep them informed w.r.t operational policies and a strategic plan
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the company & develop the company’s culture
- Help with recruiting senior staff members & create an environment that promotes great performance & positive morale
- Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing
- Work with senior stakeholders, chief financial officer, chief information officer, and other executives
- Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations
Salary:
USD
14,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS
- At Least 18 - 20 years of experience in Bridge/Luxury brands in accessories, cosmetics
- Handled multiple regions
- Strong understanding of product sourcing from China, operations and finance
- Should have handled complete P&L accountability
- Should have grown business in a big way
- Experience of managing large teams
- Adaptability of managing different geographies and complexities
