Mechanical Engineer
Working for Atkins in the Middle East is a multicultural, demanding and challenging career path. Atkins' projects in the Middle East are not simple and the deadlines are not relaxed to deliver some of the most complicated multidisciplinary projects in the shortest periods of time. You have to learn, adapt and work at a fast pace and communicate closely with the different teams. In order to achieve that, you will find on the way a lot of support and mentoring.
Lesley Desport
Country Director
Lesley Desport has been appointed Country Director for Qatar in September 2016. She is also the Chair of the Institution of Civil Engineers in Qatar (ICE). Lesley obtained a BEng Honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, UK and later returned to the same institution obtaining a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 2010. She is a Chartered Engineer and was recently awarded the grade of Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE). Lesley is currently working towards acquiring an APM qualification.
Phil Malem
Managing Director of Transport & infrastructure
Phil Malem has been appointed Managing Director of Transport & infrastructure in the Middle East & Africa (MEA), from September 2016. Phil has been with Atkins for 7 years. He was previously managing director of Energy’s global Power and Renewables business, and already based in the Middle East. Phil brings with him a wealth of broad industry experience, strong capabilities in strategic client engagement and successful business leadership
Campbell Gray
Managing Director of Transport & infrastructure
Campbell Gray is responsible for Faithful+Gould's operations in the Middle East region, with 20 years of technical advisory experience across infrastructure, energy, hospitality, health, education and property sectors. Now responsible for the strategic growth of the Middle East business, he has some great lessons learned to share from his international transaction advisory experience.
