Established in March 2006, National Bonds is the first National Saving Scheme of the UAE that provides UAE nationals, UAE residents and non-residents over the age of 16 with a credible, safe and Shari'a-compliant savings opportunity, whilst simultaneously providing people with a unique opportunity to win millions of Dirhams in weekly draws.

50% ownership of the company is held by the government of Dubai, while the major shareholders of the National Bonds Corporation are Emaar Properties Company, Dubai Bank and Dubai Holding Company.

Licensed to operate throughout the UAE, National Bonds Corporation is Shari’a compliant, with a dedicated Shari’a Board to oversee all financial aspects including product related operations and investments.
