Job Description

Assistant Spa Manager

As an Assistant Spa Manager at Fairmont Jakarta, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Fairmont Spa, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spa management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The Assistant Spa Manager will work closely with the spa team to maintain high standards of service, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the overall success of the spa.

Employment will be under local contract. Open for Indonesian citizens only.

What you will be doing:

- Provide administrative support to spa departments as needed.
- Ensure smooth operation of reception, hosting and reservations.
- Supervision of reception (hiring, procedures, accounting).
- Provide spa tours, when needed.
- To attend promotional functions as appropriate.
- Handle special assignments.
- Co-ordinate sales activities when needed.
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- Work with the Spa Manager in the formulation of plans for projects and other areas.
- Assist in the administration and implementation of Staff training in all aspects of the Spa's operations, i.e. business telephone usage, guest relations, retail sales, spa services (massage, body scrub, facial, etc.).
- Assist in the supervision of all spa departments, including facility operations as well as sales and marketing.
- Maintain inventory and stocking of all reception materials.
- Act as a liaison between spa and internal and external contacts.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

- University or College degree in related field.
- Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in management position in a spa industry.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Desire to provide fantastic guest experiences.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
- Good presentation and influencing skills.
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
- Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
