Overview of the Role
The Assistant Store Keeper is crucial for maintaining smooth warehouse operations in the Automotive division's After Sales business. This role oversees the receipt, inspection, and verification of goods, ensures inventory accuracy, and supports logistic activities for optimal performance. Responsibilities include preparing orders for B2B delivery, managing replenishment, and ensuring adherence to SOPs. The Assistant Store Keeper plays a vital role in preventing lost sales through efficient stock management and supporting promotional campaigns for enhanced sales outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Oversee warehouse activities, ensuring efficient handling and smooth workflow
- Prepare picking and packing for B2B delivery and other sales channels
- Follow center operations and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Conduct weekly performance reviews using key KPIs (Picking and pinning)
- Support team in picking and packing oils, batteries, and parts
- Ensure proper stock availability for branch and manage replenishment in coordination with Parts Stock controller
- Guarantee accurate picking, packing, preparing, and collection processes as per SOP
- Follow up invoicing, quotation for prepacking process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure availability and accuracy of stock in branch with inventory availability reports
- Achieve stock accuracy of 98% to avoid write-offs and reduce financial discrepancies
- Maintain order fulfilment rate of 95% to prevent lost sales and ensure revenue realization
- Ensure smooth operation in warehouse areas following SOP
- Monitor and improve stock in warehouse to avoid lost sales as per NPS & CSI score target
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures
- Follow 7 storage techniques to maintain an efficient and safe warehouse environment
- Support promotional campaigns and initiatives by preparing pre-picking activities
- Enhance sales performance before and after campaign
Required Skills to Be Successful
- B.Sc. equivalent education
- 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Previous experience within Automotive Aftersales is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and good proficiency in English
