JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

To support our client in Egypt (New Cairo), a conglomerate across the GGC seeks a candidate to join the role of an Executive Assistant in Egypt with direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer based in Dubai. The candidate will assist in providing corporate executive support and acting as a right hand to the COO.

Client Details

The conglomerate, spread across the GCC is rapidly growing and is thus looking to expand their support team. They are recruiting an Executive Assistant to support their COO in Egypt.

Description

The job entails providing administrative and executive support, encompassing project management:

* Prepare PowerPoint decks to support proposal efforts by providing current firm data while assisting with research and overseeing special projects when required.
* Serve as the COO's principal point of contact, supervise company operations and acquire status updates on many initiatives and projects.
* Create and establish reports and correspondence, format information for internal and external communication - memos, emails, extensive presentations, report
* Aid in managing the diary of the Chief Operating Officer based in Dubai, including appointment scheduling, setting priorities, reallocating resources as needed, and logistics management.
* Effectively represent the Chief Operating Officers through communication with internal and external stakeholders, including managing invitations to members and outside parties and providing intensive travel management support.
* Keep up-to-date records of all relevant information and records of external stakeholders and suppliers.
* Active participation in team and office activities while working closely with the other offices across the GCC to support and ensure smooth operations.
* Manage financial tasks such as processing invoices and expense reimbursements.
* Assisting with other divisional operations, such as providing on-site support for internal, external, and regional events.
* On a case-by-case basis, the Executive Assistant should assist with one or more firm-building tasks, which will be reflected in an individual's annual performance.

REQUIREMENTS

* 5-7 years of relevant corporate support experience (not limited to administrative duties) assisting the C-suite
* Working experience with a professional service or a multinational organisation is required (preferably corporate).
* Flexible to travel to support business operations
* Proven ability to use influence and persuasion to achieve desired results.
* Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills with good presentation skills.
* Flexibility; willingness to take on new and challenging tasks; ability to detect problems and propose answers; resourcefulness and troubleshooting skills.
* Team player with an inclusive attitude, excellent time management and attention to detail.
