JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Position Title: Executive Chef
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 5K USD, depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, and transportation

About the Client:
A Big Catering Company located in Cairo, Egypt
Job Description:
• Participates in preparing the annual budget and operational plans for the central kitchen
• Participates in establishes the central kitchen Policies and Procedures manuals ensuring total compliance by all company employees
• Participates in setting the standards and performance measures (KPIs) for the central kitchen
• Reviews daily program schedule and manages food production operations in central kitchen
• Manages special menus creation process which suits the food style, client's needs and to project and monitor trend and predict cost
• Ensures and checks that station guides are daily updated in all areas such as (recipes) to obtain and ensure high quality of food
• Monitors and checks Inventory in store to ensure proper storage
• Inspects central kitchen outlets to ensure hygiene, health, safety and following of all company standards and checks central kitchen manual daily to ensure professional and efficient operation of kitchen department and that all company standards, specifications, and ISO requirements are implemented and maintained
• Approves quality of food before and after purchasing to ensure best quality, monitors food handling personnel and their professional to ensure safe, clean and hygienic work practices
• Meets with all kitchen staff monthly to discuss all related matters and to ensure positive and creative team environment within department and performs timely chef's evaluation and gives periodical feedback to ensure regular performance improvement
• Participates in the recruitment process for kitchen staff as needed to ensure appropriate staffing level and recruitment following standards, and Manages training process on quarterly basis to meet necessary legislation
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• Open to Egyptian nationals
• 35 years old and above
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in kitchen management
• Atleast 10 years of kitchen management experience (Hotels & Catering Companies)
• Should have experience in International cuisines
• Immediate joiners or with maximum 1 month notice will be prioritized
