Description

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Officer (PMO) to support our growing portfolio of educational projects. The PMO will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by providing governance, oversight, and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of educational projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
  • Work closely with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established KPIs, providing timely reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and roadblocks while proactively recommending solutions.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communication between teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Collect and maintain project documentation, ensuring accurate records of project deliverables, decisions, and lessons learned.
  • Support training and development initiatives for staff involved in project management.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in university projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
