JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Description
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives, particularly for projects within the microfinance sector, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices
- Manage the coordination of internal resources and external third-party vendors to facilitate seamless project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Support the timely, scope-compliant, and budget-adherent delivery of all projects, with a particular focus on donor-funded initiatives, through effective coordination and implementation of project management best practices
- Apply suitable verification methodologies to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring accurate management and control of project adjustments in accordance with established objectives
- Utilize relevant project management methodologies and tools to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to project objectives and timelines
- Provide regular reports on project status and escalate any critical issues to management in a timely manner, ensuring transparency and proactive resolution of challenges to support project success
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, to facilitate accountability, and compliance throughout project lifecycles

- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- 2-3 years in project management support, preferably in microfinance and handling donor-funded projects
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
