Job Purpose

The Senior Structural Design Engineer specializing in the precast industry spearheads the design and analysis of reinforced concrete and structural projects with a specific focus on precast elements. This role harnesses extensive expertise in structural analysis programs, international codes, and BIM tools to ensure precise, compliant, and innovative designs tailored for precast construction methods. Additionally, this position demands autonomous work capabilities, exceptional drafting and modeling skills, and the leadership prowess to guide teams and review shop drawings, enabling the seamless execution of precast projects.

Key Accountability Areas

Ensure Adherence to International Codes : Apply comprehensive knowledge of international codes such as ACI, ASCE, UBC, AISC, SBC, etc., ensuring structural designs and analyses comply with these standards.

Execute Structural Analysis : Utilize expertise in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, STAAD Pro., etc.) to conduct thorough and precise analyses for various projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety.

Proficient BIM Implementation : Demonstrate excellence in BIM tools, especially REVIT, to create accurate and efficient structural models and integrate them within the Building Information Modeling framework.

Independent Work and Drafting : Independently manage tasks while showcasing exceptional drafting and modeling capabilities, ensuring high-quality output and accuracy in structural designs and models.

Leadership and Team Collaboration : Lead project teams effectively, providing guidance and support, fostering collaboration, and contributing to collective goals. Review and evaluate shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
