Description
At CCDS, we are seeking a talented and experienced senior IT & cybersecurity pre-sales engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is intended for a dedicated professional who can bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales strategy. As a senior IT & cybersecurity pre-sales engineer, you will engage directly with potential clients, understanding their specific needs and crafting customized solutions that leverage our cutting-edge cybersecurity products and services. Your contribution will be crucial in driving sales success and building lasting relationships with our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with account executives to align technical solutions with client requirements.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client IT environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend tailored security solutions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the benefits and features of our solutions.
- Create detailed technical proposals and responses to RFPs that effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Address technical inquiries from clients and provide expert advice on cybersecurity best practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors to remain informed on market trends.
- Work with engineering and product development teams to ensure that client needs are communicated and addressed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and threats to enhance our capabilities and offerings.
- Assist in drafting case studies and other technical documentation to showcase our successful implementations.
- Support account managers in developing strategic plans for existing clients.
- Collaborate on customer success strategies to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical training as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role focused on IT and cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of simplifying complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in engaging with clients to understand their needs and propose effective solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience with major cybersecurity products and platforms (e.g., firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, identity management).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients and support sales activities.
