What will you do?
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for exporting fresh produce to international markets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Determine pricing strategies and sales targets to maximize profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Understand their needs, negotiate contracts, and address any concerns or issues.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and sales-related activities.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals involved in fresh produce export.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team achieves sales targets and meets performance objectives.
- Monitor sales activities, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all export regulations, documentation requirements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as Logistics and Quality, Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure smooth export processes and timely delivery of products.
- Prepare and review export documents, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain sales performance metrics and reporting systems to track sales activities, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement.
