Job description
We are looking for a senior presales engineer to join our team and help us to deliver innovative and secure IT infrastructure solutions to our customers.
As a senior presales engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle. You will work closely with customers/partners to understand their needs and design solutions that meet their specific requirements. You will also be responsible for delivering presentations, conducting demos, and developing technical proposals.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
- Work closely with customers/partners to understand their needs and design solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Lead customer facing demonstrations, proof of concepts, and RFP technical solution design and responses.
- Provide competitive insight and trends in support of sales pursuits.
- Assist with the development and delivery of pre-sales training to customers and partners.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Nutanix/Dell products and services, as well as our competitors' solutions.
Personal skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure technologies, pre-sales and/or technical engineering role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and design skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
Technical skills
- Excellent practical and accumulated experience in storage systems, servers, VMware, data protection, and networks & communication technologies.
- HCI, storage, backup, and virtualization experience.
- Dell Technologies products experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
