What are we looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant who would be keen to support school leaders in the management of students during the school day.
This post is suitable for support staff only. This is a fixed-term role until the end of the 2025-26 academic year in the first instance. The working hours for this role are 08.00-16.00, Monday to Friday (term time only).
The main purpose of this role will be to conduct regular patrols of the school site, to assist in the management of students during transition between lessons and at break times, on trips and supervisory duties as required. Site officers are expected to support the pastoral team in the application of the school’s procedures and policies relating to behaviour and safeguarding. A heightened awareness of security, safety and appropriate responses to concerns about them are key to the role.
The ideal candidate will have a calm and firm approach to dealing with conflict and a personable and understanding manner.
