Purpose of the job

Analyzing international business and handle financials related to roaming and international.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Study the market and identify opportunities for international and enhance roaming settlement.
  • Participate in commercial negotiation strategies for international deals.
  • Analyze initiatives/services of the group and vendors to decide if it suits our market.
  • Analyze historical data for roaming IOT discount agreements from financials view.
  • Build the business case and decide the best model for the IDD deals.
  • Make the needed calculation for each step during back and forth negotiations and decide the best revenue/cost mix to enhance EBITDA.
  • Build the business case, manage the negotiation and needed calculation to decide the best model.
  • Review the international agreements and propose modifications to acquire benefits or to avoid risks.
  • Support the retail team to develop and align for international roadmap, rating plans and promotions.
  • Deliver roaming and interconnect agreements and discount deals that enable profitable wholesale, differentiated retail roaming propositions to Orange customers.
  • Align with finance (commercial accounting team) the monthly booking closing figures for international.
  • Prepare and follow up the international budget with finance (budgeting team).
  • Work on budget as a decision support for roaming and interconnect.
  • Track traffic and value for each IDD deal, and contact the international partners if we notice a severe drop.
  • Monitor weekly inbound and outbound international traffic reports to avoid any revenue loss due to technical issues.
  • Send alerting emails to our revenue assurance department in case there is an abnormal decline in traffic due to fraud case or to technical department alerting them in case there are any technical issues at their end.
  • Develop and generate reports that run on weekly basis for key business indicators and financial results to execute various analyses.
  • Align with finance (commercial accounting team) for roaming booking in terms of signed PA and analyze the contract terms to have accurate calculations and booking on monthly basis.
  • Review and align with finance for monthly closing figures for roaming and international.
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain records to validate accuracy of invoicing, settlement and reporting.
  • Work with the RP to solve any discrepancy related to reconciliation figures.
  • Forward the final agreed figures with the roaming partner to finance to issue the needed document to complete the settlement.
  • Resolve collection issues that might face the finance with the other roaming partners.
  • Track traffic trends for international and make the necessary corrective action.
  • Produce various international analysis and calculations to base decisions for recognizing opportunities and risk mitigation.

    Education
    - Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

    Experience
    - Minimum 4 years experience in the same function.
