JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Supply Chain Lead_VOIS

Role purpose:
- Develop & manage category strategy for specific categories assigned to category manager for services and solutions across in Egypt. Such as Property, Facility management etc
- Create contracting strategy and deliver on savings targets.
- Demand aggregation to leverage Vodafone's global scale and scope
- Create synergies with VPC and leverage global deals with localized approach
- Engage with VPC category managers to drive global procurement agenda for procurement driven to _VOIS and VGSL.
- Develop a sustainable supplier base and optimize supplier performance to delivery category strategy
- Works with suppliers to identify innovation opportunities for the benefit of the category and Vodafone
- Uses Supply Chain tools, process, policies and standards
- Drive and support implementation of Digital solutions for processes driven through SCM.
- Regularly conducts internal and external benchmarking and is able to negotiate & frame contracts to deliver more value
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and effective influencing of internal customers and external suppliers
- Drive periodic governance meetings / reviews with relevant business stake holders and report exceptions / outliers enabling closure.
- Drive contract management and governance.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Engage with user on cost optimization & generate savings
- Monitoring & improving KPIs around Procurement Process in collaboration with different teams
- Working with users for requirement gathering, partner strategy and align with VPC Category manager
- Supplier engagement and supplier performance monitoring for all vendors along with user teams
- Vendor & Contract Management

Requirements:

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Strong Analytical skills to draw insights from a large volume of diverse data
- Ability to manage a wide range of working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Understanding of cultures - working in virtual and international teams
- Digital acumen - strong promoter of e-procurement systems
- Has a proactive and pragmatic work ethic

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Graduate with 5-7 years of experience in supply chain
- Working knowledge of SCM Processes & procedures
