What you'll be doing

responsible for designing and implementing CSR initiatives locally and supporting all CSR relays regionally in successfully implementing their initiatives while ensuring high employee engagement rates and positively impacting the environment, handling end-to-end sustainable projects within assigned pillars; from developing the strategy till implementation and communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow all relevant Sustainable Engagement policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Follow the day-to-day activities related to own job with minimal supervision to ensure continuity of work
- Measure the effort of the 4 key pillars of sustainability strategy on a quarterly basis
- Manage the dashboards and measurement sheets; flag any discrepancies or delays and notify Head of Sustainable Engagement for remedial action
- Coordinate all logistics needed for the successful event implementation while ensuring adherence to allocated budget
- Draft content and communicate all achievements internally and externally through the support of internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver presentations highlighting the key successes of even
- Manage Chalhoub Impact program through:

- Giving back to society
- Engaging Chalhoub employees
- Develop new initiatives (with detailed agenda and needed resources) in adherence with the Sustainable Engagement pillars and validate with Head of Sustainable Engagement
- Partner up with educational entities, NGOs, organizations for the design and implementation of common initiatives
- Regional Activity:
- Monitor people participation rates in other countries and report on them
- Recruit Chalhoub Impact ambassadors in the countries
- Organize humanitarian retail campaigns in stores
- Develop yearly CSR calendar in coordination with Head of Sustainable Engagement
- Propose engaging communication content in coordination with internal/external agencies in order to ensure high participation rates
- Coordinate all logistics needed for the successful event implementation while ensuring adherence to allocated budget
- Log all participants and generate statistical outputs on participation rates
- Generate detailed event evaluation reports on events outcome (i.e. number of bags collected, number of trees planted, Chalhoub employees engagement rate, etc.)
