Position Overview
We have a suitable opportunity in the Supply Chain division for the position of Supply Planner. In this role, the Supply Planner is responsible for generating procurement plans of finished goods, samples, and testers for respective sources of procurement considering the forecast, stock covers, and safety stock. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of professional experience with FMCG, Pharma, or Retail industry. The location of the job will be Mumbai - HO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth execution of the planning process in order to guarantee the availability of the product while optimizing customer service and cost and while improving the quality of stocks.
- Build the supply plan of the entity based on the validated sales forecasts and supply/procurement parameters.
- Determine the stock and supply parameters according to the objectives of service rate, costs, and global targeted stock.
- Manage global monthly sales forecast process and the sales forecast quality.
- Build baseline forecast and challenge and consolidate the promotions and new launch forecast projected by marketing and commercial planning teams.
- Ensure the global sales forecast consistency through the building of a consensus between commercial forecasts, the financial trend, and sales history. Independently animate the Pre-S&OP meetings.
- Manage the replenishment process through the evaluation of the shortage risks and by communicating priorities to the MSL.
- Manage stock levels in country in accordance with the objectives set and compute obsoletes and slow movers. Define and implement action plans.
- Define and follow the key performance indicators (out of stock, service rate, stock, forecast accuracy, bias) and communicate them internally and to the MSL.
- Build the budgeted stock equation according to the stock and supply parameters.
- Contribute to the improvement of the processes and information systems related to his/her activity and be the referent of his/her job.
- Build solid understanding of our supply chain structure and functioning during the first assignment within L'Oréal.
- Responsible to manage the communication between key stakeholders in assessing the supply risks/gaps and opportunities as a part of the pre-S&OP process.
- Participate in projects impacting supply chain optimizations.
- Improve flexibility, reactivity, and reliability in the respective work streams.

Education:
Post-graduate/MBA with 2-4 years' experience.
