Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to oversee the construction and commissioning of the WTP project. The Project Director will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Water and will be responsible for ensuring that the project is executed within the defined timelines, cost targets, quality standards, and safety parameters. This is a site-based role with a six-day working schedule. The Project Director will lead a team of Project Managers and their respective teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead the entire construction and commissioning process of the WTP project, ensuring adherence to project timelines, cost targets, quality standards, and safety parameters.
- Manage and coordinate all project activities, including planning, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
- Oversee the project budget and monitor expenses, ensuring cost control measures are in place.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, government clients, high-class contractors, project management consultants (PMCs), and design partners.
- Liaise with stakeholders to address any concerns, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Collaborate with the project team to review and evaluate project designs, technical specifications, and construction plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Conduct regular project meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, change orders, and claims.
- Evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage a team of two Project Managers and provide leadership, guidance, and support to their respective teams.
