Salary package up to US$ 96,000 + family tickets + insurance
Based in Erbil, Iraq
Our client is a diversified regional business in the Food import & distribution, retail and fashion industry. With their continued success, they are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and qualified Financial Controller. The role is based in Erbil, Iraq.
This is a key role ensuring systems, processes and team are operating smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning, Forecasting/Budgeting, Monitoring performance, Control & Analysis through varied Management Reports.
• Provide the business with financial Analysis and evaluation by ensuring that all proposals are financially justified and in line with the business unit’s strategies.
• Engage with operations and provide business partnering support.
• Continuous improvements by recommending process or operational changes
• Management of invoicing, cash flow and product costing
• Monitoring performance to ensure delivery against budgets and forecast
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a Finance Qualification – CA / CPA/ CMA / MBA Finance
• At least 7 years Finance Management experience in the Middle East
• Experience in retail as mandatory.
• Must be bilingual – very good English AND Arabic communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and produce qualitative output
• Previous experience in a similar role in a remote location (Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.) an advantage
