JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Conduct regular rigorous review of customer perceptions on people, process and brand through all customer touch points and develop action plan to address all shortfalls.
• Build creative and innovative methods to develop and deliver brand propositions, promotions and initiatives to drive customers to Organisation. This should include all the media channels (radio, television, print media and digital and cultivation of CRM data).
• Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, build and maintain social media presence, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs);
• Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights, brainstorm new and creative growth strategies, plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion rates
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience, evaluate emerging technologies.
• Demonstrable visible and measured ROI from marketing spend to win trust and confidence to increase spend and budget.
• To build the Corporate brand through creative CSR campaigns to include social, environmental and community initiatives (inside and outside showroom) that also use our employees for active participation to gain favourable press coverage and generates local goodwill.
• Ensure marketing plan is the pivotal support for Brand Managers to be able to achieve their annual goals for revenue through customer traffic generation, tracking and successful deal closure.
• Given the competitive nature of a slowing market, work towards tailored and innovative methods to identify competitor customers and work with principal for conversion strategy.
• Ensure all employees in Showrooms (sales and support), Parts and Service division personnel are trained on the brand values and ensure these are reflected fully in terms of conduct, behaviour and training (in collaboration with HR) so that cross selling and influence opportunity is maximised for the benefit of sales
• Work with partners, targeting similar profile clients for joint marketing campaigns; Gather prospect customer lists and enrol for email and call strategy program to generate showroom visits. Work very closely with HR, Training and Call Centre
• functions to ensure marketing goals for influence and sales generation are delivered through employee contact touch points for product knowledge, brand values and propositions.
• Develop and track customer movements in CRM System with goal to generate sales through new prospect customers from list data, re-activate lapsed or old customers and upgrade or cross selling programmes to existing customers.
• Participate in exhibitions and roadshows to promote products with the objective of creating excitement and buzz around new product launches. Invite prospect customers to launch events for new models and develop programmes to attract customer traffic to showrooms during both peak and off-peak times.
• Ensure showrooms remain busy during peak sales times throughout the year.
• Develop and implement referral marketing programmes through existing customers.
• Build a team with the required skills and passion to deliver brand, sales and repeat business in the areas of events, digital, copy-writing and brand development. The team should be a focal point of expertise and respected internally for support and innovation as being a key pillar in developing and sustaining sales success.
• Manage the marketing budget and use external agencies, media booking and creative partners who can provide value and innovation with the goal to be first to market and a pioneer in campaign creativity.
• Use the power of our corporate brand to negotiate & extract a cost-value equation in our favour from our partners.
• Ensure all customer contact information with every client is reflected in the company’s CRM system (direct marketing campaigns including emails, HTML flyers on promotions, call-centre and other traffic generation campaigns to existing and prospect customers).
• The CRM system should provide high level reports on all marketing activities across the business and should be the single source of information on all customers.
• Support the business to ensure this system is developed and becomes the single most important source of marketing campaign

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors with 15+ years in marketing & last 5 years in a senior management position, heading the entire marketing function of a reputed automotive brand
• Strong understanding of the Marketing value chain and customer life cycle management.
• Strong drive and energy with exceptional communication skills.
• Proven track record & leadership qualities, effective communication, strong inter-personal skills, sound commercial acumen, analytical ability and pleasing personality are essential.
