JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Retail /Fashion/ Food Import & Distribution
Salary package circa US$ 96,000 + benefits
Based in Erbil, Iraq

Our client is a diversified regional business in Retail, Fashion and Food import & distribution. With their continued success, they are currently seeking to recruit a Human Resources Manager. The role is based in Erbil, Iraq.

Only candidates with relevant Retail experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure consistency regarding employment conditions, company policies and procedures
• Work closely with management to retain employees, identify manpower requirements & advise on employee-related issues
• Support the key business priorities by giving an HR perspective, advice, leadership and training to the management team.
• Plan, design and execute appropriate learning and development activities to meet individual and business objectives.
• Introduce systems to support the growth objectives.
• Contribute to the management HR strategy and programmes as required in order to share best practice and business excellence.
• Provide a pro-active approach to problem solving so as to anticipate and resolve a variety of both routine and more complex problems

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in HR or equivalent
• Minimum 6years HR management experience in the Retail Industry in the Middle East
• Proven experience in new set-ups in a difficult environment
• Very good people management and well developed interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic AND English
• Experienced PC user familiar with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• Previous experience in Iraq or other remote locations would be an advantage
