An exciting opportunity awaits for an enthusiastic and driven Mathematics Secondary School Teacher to join our agency and be placed with a dynamic team in the vibrant city of Baghdad, Iraq. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to students' diverse learning needs.
- Teach secondary school mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and exams, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and a love for mathematics.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources, including technology, to enhance learning and student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and promote mathematics across the curriculum.
- Participate in professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in mathematics education.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships that support student success.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Contribute to school-wide activities, including extracurricular programs, events, and community outreach.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field;
- A PGCE with QTS is required to be able to teach secondary school mathematics in Iraq.
- Proven 5 years UK Classroom experience teaching mathematics at a secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the British curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A passion for mathematics, and education, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to utilize technology effectively in the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a diverse environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and collaborative team efforts.

Salary:
USD 2,500 to 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
