JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Topographic Surveyor is responsible for conducting precise land and topographic surveys to support infrastructure projects, particularly in the areas of bridges, roads, and highways. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in surveying and have a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects. This role requires expertise in using advanced surveying equipment and software to collect, analyze, and present data critical to project planning and execution.

Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed topographic surveys to capture terrain features, elevations, and contours for infrastructure projects
• Perform fieldwork using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment to gather accurate data
• Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, including field notes, sketches, and reports
• Provide surveying expertise for infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads, and highways
• Collaborate with engineers, and project managers to interpret and utilize survey data
• Ensure that all survey data is accurate and aligns with project specifications and regulatory requirements
• Create detailed maps, drawings, and reports to present survey findings to project teams and stakeholders
• Ensure that all deliverables are of high quality and meet project deadlines
• Conduct quality checks on all survey work to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Ensure all survey activities comply with local, and national regulations and safety standards
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accurate measurements

Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in topographic surveying, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as bridges, roads, and highways
• Proven experience in conducting surveys for large-scale infrastructure projects
• Proficient in the use of modern surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
• Strong knowledge of surveying software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and other relevant tools
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic
