About the job

As a Security Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our VirusTotal cybersecurity business by building and expanding relationships with customers. You will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality and provide a comprehensive overview of business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole.

Responsibilities

- Construct and execute an effective territory development plan. Sell Security products in your territory to Security customers while meeting or exceeding quarterly goals.
- Develop pipelines and manage cycles from lead generation to customer onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships to collaborate in a long-term direction. Act as a trusted advisor to the account.
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Customer Success, Channels and Product, and Engineering teams to understand customers and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.
- Represent VirusTotal in regional forecasts, all hands, and team meetings. Serve as a stakeholder to regional Cloud leads, reporting current, accurate, and timely forecasting and business performance in Salesforce and other tools.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
- Experience with clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience carrying and exceeding strategic business goals.
- Experience starting a territory from scratch with understanding the security partner ecosystem.
- Knowledge of product and solution market trends in cybersecurity and Cloud.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity with attention to detail, build partnerships, and sell to executives across security and IT business units.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
