JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing electrical engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of electrical systems for various industrial applications.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components
- Conduct detailed electrical engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to validate and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into larger projects
- Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in leading and managing electrical engineering projects, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and standards, with a strong focus on power systems, control systems, and instrumentation
- Proficiency in using electrical design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and ETAP
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
