JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Company:
Our client is an International company in Bahrain; currently they are looking to hire a Finance Manager

Strategy & Planning

Fund management:
• Long term – to support Management in evolving long term sources of funds to meet business objectives
• Short term – to ensure liquidity in day to day operations
• Plan all Investments within the company
• In consultation with budget-holders and working closely with the management and Central Services, assist in the production of the company’s annual budget for approval by senior managers and the Board.
• Develop and implement the Finance & Accounting strategy for The Company
• Set up Finance & Accounting policies and procedures and ensure that they are in line with the laws, rules and regulations of international accounting standards
• Ensure development and enforcement of guidelines in respect of financial planning, financial accounting, budgeting and costing, financial control, treasury and financial reporting
• Provide inputs as a senior member of the management team in developing the strategy and business plans for all divisions and departments of The Company

Operational
• Ensure that proper financial planning is carried out to cover the projected financial needs of all divisions and departments
• Ensure that accurate and timely financial accounting records are maintained
• Liaise with external auditors to prepare and finalize audited financial statements accurately and on time
• Provide accurate and timely financial information
• Perform and report analysis of financial results (monthly, quarterly and annual) of all business divisions
• Liaise with all divisions to meet their financing needs
• Manage financial risks within pre-decided risk framework
• Provide financial inputs to all divisions on pricing products and services
• Ensure that all settlements relating to all divisions are carried out accurately and on time
• Implement a proper system of budgetary control
• Establish an effective system of financial internal control

General & Administrative
• Directly supervise all direct reporters
• Reports to COO of The Company for all activities related to financial administration
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Responsible for approving and releasing the Annual Corporate Budget aligned with company strategic goals
• Contribute in preparing performance appraisals and career advancement plans, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

• Provision of accurate and relevant financial statements and reports on time
• Compliance with relevant rules and regulations
• Knowledge of international accounting standards
• Financial risk management
• Efficiency of back office operations
• Budgetary control
• Internal financial control.

REQUIREMENTS

• Post Graduate in Finance /CA / CPA/ Masters in Finance or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience of which 5 years as head of F&A function within GCC.
