JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the adequate resourcing management, motivations and career development of specialized personnel of Property, Security and Services to achieve institutional objectives in a stable, efficient and reliable environment.
• Develop and ensure clarity of responsibilities effective on the job training and to maximize response to unexpected daily and strategic Property & Administration needs.
• Develop and implement a structured training plan to enhance individual personal development.
• To develop customer quality services
• Develop and direct the implementation of long range and annual facility planning (Tactical planning).
• Identify and initiate strategic real estate acquisitions, disposals and lease management to meet short and long-term needs.
• Define and provide guidance on architectural and engineering planning/design, incorporating value engineering practices in new construction and/or renovation works. Compliment with ensuring strong project management is practiced.
• Direct and provide guidance for Countrywide Services (reprographics, transportation, telex and telephone operations, mail distribution etc.) including maximizing use of automated systems such as e-Procurement.
• Oversee the development of Property plans that support the Branch and ATM expansion programmes to meet Business needs.
• Develop and ensure compliance to KPI's & SLA’s for all key functions managed by Property & Administration. Research, evaluation and introduce new concepts in fields when they become available.
• Develop policies and provide guidance to ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance and operations management of the physical facilities. Ensure these policies are kept up to date and relevant to the operation.
• Develop and direct staff in ensuring adequate control procedures are in place and adhered to, to safeguard institutional assets, including provision of updated contingency plans, awareness and support by P&A as defined.
• Direct and oversee the implementation and management of Countrywide safety and security, both physical and administrative, to comply with Bank/Local Regulations and to ensure constant updating to meet risks.
• Develop and oversee financial forecasting and budgeting, along with effective cost controls.
• Develop interior space planning, workspace specifications, installation and space management policies and ensure compliance.
• Control insurance of bank and other assets including contingency liabilities and coordination of reviews etc.
• Develop strategic approach / plans to cost management through use of out sourced services, automated systems, effective monitoring of annual volumes and costs, allowing the Bank to benefit from volume purchasing, long term contracted services etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Education:

• Min 15 plus years of experience in the field of property and facilities management in Banking Sector
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Experience in handling Banking projects/Real Estate.
