JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Marketing, PR and Events Management
• Develop a clear and concise Marketing Strategy and Plan. This should encompass, both, online and traditional marketing avenues
• Prepare an Annual Events Calendar incorporating national holidays, special event dates (Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.) and recommending activities, competitions, and special offers that will draw customers to the 3 retail shops and to the online store. Identify Events, Fairs and Exhibitions we should attend and participate in

Social Media Marketing
• Manage our Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube and Twitter accounts
• Create high-quality content that generates high engagement
• Research other similar accounts for inspiration
• Respond to all comments, questions and Direct Messages on our accounts
• Monitor and analyse activity levels and success of posts to ensure maximum engagement
• Create Paid Ads or Boost Posts, when required

Oversee the management and maintenance of the online business and website

Website Maintenance
• Ensure that all the products are correct and that the images, grammar and spellings are all correct.
• Be able to change and edit products and other functions on the website, where necessary
• Liaise with the Web Development Team for any maintenance or upgrades
• Build an annual plan of featured products or promotions for the Home Page based on seasons or events

Create written content to increase engagement with the community
• Monthly Newsletter
• New product launches
• Product of the Month
• Interviews with Moms
• Blog
• Parenting advice
• Hot Topics in parenting

Brand Management and CSR
• Manage the quality and growth of the brand’s reputation in the community through charity, educational, and sponsorship initiatives
• Manage the design and production of all collateral, including business cards, stationery, flyers, posters, stickers, etc.

Customer Service
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Build a Customer Database including a Know Your Customer campaign
• Launch a Loyalty Programme
• Launch a “Leave a Review” or “Tag Us” initiative online
• Develop a plan of events for community outreach

Business Development – Local, Regional and Distribution Arm
• Identify opportunities to build the brand through collaborations with influencers and similar businesses, local events and special dates/occasions
• Work with the Management Team on various projects and expansion programmes
• Identify potential corporate customers for the Distribution Arm of the business

Sales
• While this is not your primary role, it is vital that you are regularly on the shop floor and able to assist customers. By doing this, it will massively help you in gaining their trust, in understanding their needs and you will also learn how best to communicate with them

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will:
• Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Marketing
• Be up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and analysis tools
• Be fluent in written and spoken English (Arabic is a huge advantage)
• Be ambitious and creative
