About the Company
Quest Search and Selection is working with a top international retailer who are currently looking for a strong Product Developer (for Intimates and Swimwear categories). The role would involve relocation to South Asia (Bangladesh)
Job Responsibilities
The Product Developer would be involved in
· Developing and securing the collection for products based on trends and demand from buying team
· Supporting the Merchandising team and Suppliers to understand the trends & secure the orders
· Interpret trends and visual goals into specific materials and product information; to the R&D, PO team and the suppliers.
· Based on the trends and need of GPO, always search for and show opportunities / capacities of Market to the GPO.
· Secure clear, effective communication and understanding between GPO/PO/ Suppliers.
· Understand the market of the materials/products (Price, Market Trend, New Materials etc.)
· Understand the trends/new fabrics/products with best/suitable suppliers.
· Educate and build knowledge in the PO team and suppliers about the customer needs, the trend and STUK.
· Keep update of the market trend for the materials and products.
· Develop/Source new qualities/ materials/products with suitable supplier
· Optimize and keep every stage in the development process as efficient as possible.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements of an Ideal Candidate:
· Strong background on working for Lingerie and Bra Products
· Ability to understand production process, customer's taste and products
· Strong communication skills and ability to think out of the box
· Good business sense, results driven, and humble personality
