JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
This leading western PMC has an urgent requirement for a Chief Quality Assurance Expert to work on a major metro program.
* Candidates must be western educated, preferably holding an engineering degree obtained at a highly regarded university.
* ISO 9001 Auditor/Lead Auditor status is also preferable.
* The successful applicant will have 15-20 years' professional experience (5 years on metro projects) and will have a proven track record of driving quality on major projects with large multi-national workforces.
General Responsibilities
* Assess and approve contractor QA programs and monitor implementation of Quality Management Plan
* Develop the various Quality Assurance Plans
* Develop the Quality Assurance Manual for the client
* Monitor construction activity to ensure the quality of contractor activities
* Conduct tests and inspections, as necessary, on construction works
