DESCRIPTION
Souq.com, an Amazon company, is seeking a customer-obsessed User Experience Lead to join our team and drive the shopping experience on mobile and desktop. You will be both a leader and a significant contributor of customer-centric design solutions to our team and organization.
Responsibilities:
· Create super detailed design specifications, visual mockups, and prototypes.
· As a leader you drive and optimize the overall deliverables and productivity of the team, you define and work toward achieving high objectives and goals.
· Work closely with Product Management team to develop a shared vision and lead a process to define the experience and design to deliver on the product's objectives.
· Drive the development and communication of user flows, design guidelines, patterns, and libraries.
· Handle medium to large UX projects, and impact key user interface and interaction designs.
· Help create the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing user experience and associated UI framework and assets on a range of products.
· Measure, iterate, and deliver delightful experiences.
REQUIREMENTS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
· Self-driven leader, curious mind who love to creatively shape and drive user experience in the highest standards.· Proven ability to work cross-team, working well with feedback and input from product management, engineering, and market.
· Demonstrated fluency in best practices for web-based and mobile information architecture and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
· Extensive experience with bidirectional designs, typography, and copyrighting.
· Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to deal with ambiguity and excited with opportunities to solve very complex problems and willingness to learn.
· Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field.
· Detail oriented champion.
· Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills used to present and influence senior management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master's degree in design or equivalent professional experience.
· Design industry recognized subject matter expert
