JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Receive incoming RAMP activities allocation from the Supervisor and handle the operation of equipment, ensuring timely provision, operation and availability of equipment at all times.
- Operate-drive the following ground support equipment and ensure equipment are positioned to the aircraft efficiently and on time.
- Ensure proper handling of equipment- activities as per Supervisor’s directive ensuring timely completion of assigned task.
- To be able to work on different shift pattern as operationally required and mandated by law.
- To be flexibly assigned to the different units-sections within Ramp Services.
- To provide support to loading-unloading of aircraft, if and when required and-or as the needs arises.
- To perform any other task as directed by the immediate superior and-or head of section.
- Operate the assigned RAMP equipment and ensure equipment are positioned to the aircraft efficiently and on time.
- After flight, ensure that the ground support equipment- vehicles are positioned in designated areas.
- Monitor the working condition of all equipment used and report to Supervisor for timely repair-maintenance works.
- Check oil, water, fuel and serviceability of equipment before commencement of duty and ensure that the equipment - vehicles are clean and tidy.
- Comply with all the quality and safety procedures laid down by the company
- Adhere to uniform rules, PPE rules and other HSE requirements as laid down by the company at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

- Secondary School with 4 years minimum Airline/Ground Handling Driver experience (in one or more core areas such as ramp, catering and cargo) in any major international airport.
