Lead Sales Specialist 1 - Sales

Role Summary:

The New Units Sales Manager will participate in the sale and strategy of the BHGE rotating equipment. The candidate will be responsible for participating in direct customer meeting, developing regional market dynamics, competitive strategy, and supporting proposal development (technical and commercial).

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of TPS New Units Sales Manager you will:

- Be responsible for obtaining orders and sales by driving and implementing sales strategy for the regional accounts
- Develop knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and customer base
- Provide deal leadership for related sales within an assigned sales region through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on BHGE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs resulting in execution of definitive sales agreements
- Work with the extended BHGE teams to identify opportunities to drive volume growth in all segments of the business function
- Contribute to defining and implementing marketing and commercial strategies to increase orders volume and profitability
- Leverage cross-functional and cross business resources to maximize market penetration
- Work with Marketing to develop strategies and services for business growth

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 5 years of experience associated with a Sales function or customer facing position with Rotating Equipment

Desired Characteristics:

- Oil and Gas customer base and market experience
- Knowledge of BHGE Turbomachinery, specifically centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam and gas turbines, and API610 pumps
- Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of assigned systems and client organization and practices
- Demonstrated decisiveness as evidenced by the ability to make decisions with speed and accuracy
- Adaptable and open to change in response to unexpected circumstances and or in working in ambiguous situations
