JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
FreeBalance is looking for a Public Relations Officer to join its team in Muscat, Oman. The Public Relation Officer will coordinate the collection and processing of documents required for inbound and outbound immigration and all related duties with government departments. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in this role and a background in either human resources/accounting would be considered an asset.
Main Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and support registration with the tax department, municipality license and lease agreement in respect of the office space of the Branch;
• Facilitate and support work permit, residency, visa and immigration related documentation including and final arrangements;
• Prepare letters of invitation and obtain required attestation
• Scheduling staff’s visa, medical, coordinating with other internal and external departments;
• Coordinate collecting all appropriate documentation necessary for visa and permits required to be processed by the Oman Branch;
• Organising visas for holiday and business related travel for managers as required;
• Support staff queries on visa/passport and general related matters;
• Ensure all visa, medical and labour permits are up to date and arranging for timely renewal;
• Assist Human Resources with all general inquiries concerning labour and immigration matters; and
• Office administrative/hr support, as required
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• 2-4 years experience in PRO role or performing required duties.
• Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources desired.
• Self-starter with an incredible work ethic
• Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
• Proficient in MS office.
• Must have a professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality
