Assistant Vice President of Group Tax
My client is one of the country's leading investment groups with a global portfolio of world class investments. They are currently seeking an Assistant Vice President for the Group Tax Division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Group Tax including compliance, tax planning, accounting for taxes, preparation of tax returns and implementation of new tax laws. You will be advising the Head of Finance on the tax implications of new business deals while leading deal structuring from a tax perspective as well as reviewing existing business deals and overall group Balance Sheet to identify and mitigate tax related risks. It will be your responsibility to conduct effective tax management as per the best practices and application of tax laws and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and tax and possess at least 4 years’ experience of working in a Big-4 tax department (preferably international tax advisory / compliance). It will be advantageous if you have previous experience within an investment banking tax department and a professional accounting qualification like CPA, CA or ACCA. You should have knowledge of US FATCA reporting / CRS.
