JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A reputable bank in Qatar is looking to hire an individual to fill a role of Head of Treasury & Investments. This person will be in charge of managing and directing the Treasury and Investments activities across the bank, ensuring business objectives and strategy reflected in processes delivered in a professional and proactive manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working with the CEO in achieving/exceeding the business objectives of the Treasury and Investments Department and in ensuring the best interest of the Bank's stakeholders
• Lead the formulation of annual strategy, budgets, policies and procedures manual
• Ensure that the approved strategy, business plans, budgets along with the approved policies/procedures
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Banking & Finance, and/or Sales & Marketing from a recognized university
• 17-20 years of related experience of which a minimum of 10 years in a similar position, ideally within the Banking industry
• Professional certification such as CPA/CA/CFA and/or CMA or the equivalents is desirable
