Head of Retail
My client is a leading real estate developer that is completing a brand new prestigious luxury shopping mall in Qatar. They are currently seeking a Head of Retail to drive and manage the company’s retail business.
The successful candidate will be establishing and maintain relationships with business partners and brand principles to ensure positive development and management of the portfolio. In addition to this you will be effectively leading and managing the retail portfolio to achieve the company prescribed KPIs; budgeting and sales forecasting, planning, marketing, buying, merchandizing, stock selection, logistics, inventory and warehouse operations, and to ensure overall that the highest levels of customer sales and service are achieved at all times. It will be your responsibility to head up the opening of new stores within the portfolio and work with various stakeholders to ensure smooth, successful and timely store openings.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing or similar discipline with at least 15 years work experience in a managerial capacity, preferably in the Retail / FMCG background. You must have an excellent track record in Management within Retail or exposure working with a premium or prestige brand within various retail segments, notably international fashion/furniture business.
