JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Interior Design Manager - IKEA - Doha, Qatar

As part of the Interior Design team you will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing the room sets and projects for the showroom, entrance, restaurant and staff area. You will develop the set right from the floor plan drawn to scale, deciding on interiors and upon receiving approval from the Com-In Manager and the Sales Manager, building the set with assistance of carpenters.

You will be required to make daily checks and carry out any maintenance required to ensure the displays are always in 'as new' condition. All designs should match the planned marketing activities according the events and commercial calendar.

REQUIREMENTS

Ideally you will have a degree / diploma in interior designing or architecture with around 3 years relevant work experience.

A professional understanding of Microsoft Office packages would be advantageous along with experience of using designing software.
