JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with a global law firm who is looking for a Construction Paralegal to join its Doha team. This is a new position, and an exceptional opportunity to join a reputable international firm where you will be responsible for assisting the fee earners and partners in the Construction Team.
The role will involve assisting on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters, with a focus on contentious. You will assist with research, collating relevant material for the legal matters assigned, preparing/bundling case documentation and briefing notes, maintaining case files, drafting legal documents, as well as assisting with any other adhoc paralegal administration responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should have a proven track record/or interest in arbitration, and ideally with construction experience. You should be a driven, team focused individual who is commercially aware of the Qatar market and looking for a long-term career in an international firm. You should have a strong academic background from one of the top global prestigious universities in law and should have completed your PGDL + LPC or BVC or LLM. If you are a non-native English speaker, it is essential that you are fluent in English written and spoken and will be a qualified lawyer in your own jurisdiction.
