Procurement Specialist
My client is one of the country’s most prestigious real estate developers and has a significant number of projects and land, here in Qatar. They are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist be responsible for the procurement of goods or services for real estate projects.
The successful candidate will ensure that the organization secures the best deals for materials and services. You will liaise and communicate with project delivery team on project materials or services required, including consultant, contractor or construction materials. It will be important for you to implement and standardize tendering methods for project procurement.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar discipline with 10 + years’ experience in large scale construction as well as knowledge of tendering and procurement processes. You must possess in-depth knowledge of procurement and contracting standards, requirements, internal controls, policies and procedures. In addition to this you will have a solid understanding of the local laws and regulations.
