JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Position Summary:
The senior internal auditor is responsible for performing the internal audit tasks, as part the internal audit plan. This responsibility includes performing internal audit procedures, and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed, which will include coverage of functional and operating projects and focusing on financial, IT and operational processes. Additionally, follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit points
Salary:
QAR
10,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
• Understanding of internal auditing standards, COSO and risk assessment practices.
• Understanding of internal control concepts and experience in applying them.
• Understanding of the technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Desired Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance
• CIA or equivalent designations is a plus
• 5+ years of public accounting and/or experience in the contracting field with knowledge of accounting and internal control areas
• Experience in the Contracting field is a plus
