JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

JOB OBJECTIVE

To be the local contact for the logistics of support contract between the customer, actors, and Thales project management team (Field Local Representative, Technical Assistants, PM/WPM, and Front Office) also the Thales Supply Chain Manager Representative to client.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES


- Supply-chain management: Manage the administrative, shipment and packing aspects of the repair process. Oversee the logistic flow of the equipment for the Rafale support program
- Will be in charge to supervise the full process of shipment and reception, as well the billing part
- Keep up to date the Information System (SI) of the program
- Share the information regarding Thales Rafale equipment’s availability (availability and AOG risks)
- Build and strengthen local relationship with others Supply Chain Managers of strategic partners of Thales and other local stakeholders
- Collaborate with the customer and maintain a high level of confidence
- Be attuned to the customer, maintain good relations between Qatar / Thales and be a proactive in the reporting of risks of dissatisfaction
- Consolidate operational data (Flight hours, Integrated Logistics failures, stock level, reliability etc.)
- Participate with the customer in the establishment of the contractual KPIs
- Report to the customer and Thales team (Field Local Representative, Front Office, Project Manager/Work Package Manager, and Technical Assistants)
- Report user/customer needs towards the Field Local Representative and Project Manager / Work Project Manager
- Help the program to build proposals and action plans
- Manage Thales stock, participate to the customer stock management, perform necessary inventory.
- Identify and carry out actions to push the order of additional spares
- Set up on-site Supply Window allowing Door to Door service for the repairs and the replenishment

QUALIFICATION


- M.Sc. (or equivalent) with robust knowledge of supply chain activities and information systems
- Business Knowledge of French & English language is mandatory. Arabic will be an added advantage.
