JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

Due to growth of the RLB Saudi Arabia business, we are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Riyadh, KSA; reporting to the Accounts Manager and General Manager.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering service excellence, with good commercial results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To support and maintain the credibility of the Sales Ledger/ Purchase Ledger/ Expense Ledger/ cashbook:

Sales Ledger (client Invoices)
• Assist with the administration of all Sales ledgers
• Preparation of invoices each month
• Assist in the production of management reports in the collection of overdue debt
• Assist with sales ledger postings and fee day book reconciliations as and when required
• Maintain Client Contracts/PO validity / billing details

Expenses (employees)
• Assist with the collation of all employee expenses
• Assist with ‘checking’ of expense claims
• Submit expenses claims to GM for approval
• File and archive all expenses for the month

Purchase ledgers (suppliers)
• Register invoices on to the purchase ledger and send for authorisation
• Code purchase invoices and post as ‘approved’ on to the purchase ledger
• Set up new purchase ledger accounts where appropriate
• File all purchase ledger invoices and archive as appropriate
• Process key suppliers consolidated invoices, using excel spreadsheets to assist, on a monthly basis
• Complete supplier statement reconciliation

Ad Hoc
• Assist with VAT implementation and reporting
• Complete archiving for purchase, expense and other ledgers on an as and when basis
• Assist with post room duties on an as and when basis
• Supporting the business with monthly payroll
• Any other accounting work deemed appropriate as and when it arises
• Manage roll out/ assist in roll out of new financial systems/ tools/ facilities as and when required

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Chartered Accountant qualification (ideal)
• A minimum of 7 years post graduate experience
• Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service, communication and client/external interface skills
• A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritizing workloads and delivering to deadlines
• A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable and flexible
